About the
Jeep Safari
The safari tour starts at 09:30 am. The
Jeeps drive us from the hotels Davutlar.
There we have a break of 15 minutes for
buying fresh food. Then we start to climb.
We make a stop near the ancient tombs, after
climbing for an hour we arrive at the
historic castle reaching the height of 1000
meters. After the visit of the castle we
take the direction of monastery. There we
have picnic lunch for about 1.5 hour. The
jeep safari continues after lunch in the
middle of wild forest and beautiful
landscapes including a view over Samos
island. The next visit is Zeus’ cave where
you can take a bath. The spring water is
very healthy because of its high density of
minerals and sulfur. From there we go to the
national park. According to the time there
is break for taking a bath. At 18:00 pm. The
tour ends returning back to the hotel.
